We’re in court tomorrow – watch the video, sign the petition!
Tomorrow, Foxglove goes to court for the first time.
It’s been three years in the making (because the government kept conceding before we could go to court) but tomorrow afternoon we will support The Citizens to bring a permission hearing to the High Court for the case against government use of disappearing messages, like WhatsApp and Signal, for official business.
We’re very proud to be bringing this case. As our director Rosa says in the video above, democracy depends on transparency.
Government business affects the lives of every single one of us. That’s why we need to know how these decisions are made. We can’t do that if the messages containing the evidence have been deleted – just like shredding documents.
