Steve Reed – please stop pushing through data centre plans

You can find our privacy policy here.

Steve Reed MP is the new Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, replacing Angela Rayner. He is now the minister with the power to intervene in planning applications – a power which Rayner used to overrule local councils and push through data centres.

Please can you help us try to persuade Steve Reed to take a fresh approach? We need to show him that public concern about reckless data centre expansion is growing, and that it’s time to address the risks to the environment, and to water and electricity supplies.
