When Donald Trump visits the UK, he’s bringing a long list of demands from his US Big Tech allies. He’s even bringing some US Big Tech billionaires along with him. They will demand tax cuts, and a green light for yet more polluting data centres to be built across the country.
We know Keir Starmer is desperate to keep Trump on side, and the UK government has already shown itself far too eager to please US Big Tech. So there’s a real risk that Trump’s UK visit will mean Starmer makes yet more dangerous promises to Silicon Valley.
