US spy tech firm Palantir is in pole position for a £480 million contract to run a massive new NHS database – the“Federated Data Platform.”
A new report from Foxglove and the Doctors’ Association sets out in detail why this deal poses huge risks. Thousands of Foxglove supporters have contacted their MPs asking them to read the report.
The Labour Party has produced a template response for Labour MPs. It includes some welcome recognition of concerns with the deal. However, it contains some gaps and needs firming up. Foxglove has prepared a response, encouraging the Labour Party to go further and suggesting some questions which Labour MPs could put to party HQ.
